Questions & answers

Buying, the US$1 plan, product status, data and launch — straight answers about Sona Field.

Questions & answers

Q01What is Sona Field?

A relaxation and focus system in three parts: a pill-shaped sensing patch for the back of the neck, a sound & light hub for the desk and a companion app.

Q02Can I buy it now?

Sona Field launches through the US$1 Early Supporter plan and crowdfunding. Join the early list and we will write to you the moment it opens.

Q03What is the US$1 plan?

A one-time US$1 Early Supporter reservation that secures Super Early Bird eligibility at launch. Benefits, refund and credit rules are published when it opens; nothing is charged before then.

Q04Is US$399 the price?

No. The retail price will be announced at launch.

Q05What do the patch and the hub each do?

The patch handles sensing at the neck: a pill-shaped shell, sensing contacts and magnetic charging, with a replaceable adhesive layer. The hub guides with light and sound: touch the glass top for colour, mode and brightness while the side speaker and perimeter light set the pace.

Q06Is it a medical device?

No. Sona Field is a consumer product designed for relaxation, focus and meditation practice. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. Work on the US FDA pathway is in preparation.

Q07How do I join the early list?

Use the early-list page: it prepares an email to sonafield@cc.com that you send from your own email app. You can also write to that address directly.

Q08What data does this website collect?

None through forms or analytics. Your language and motion preferences are stored only in your browser. If you email us, we receive what you send.

Q09When and where will it ship?

Regions, shipping dates and after-sales terms will be announced with the launch; join the early list to hear first.

Q10What is the status of the patents and copyrights?

14 software copyright registrations are in the publication period; one invention patent application is published and in substantive examination (CN122314268A); a second application is pending.
